Spanish style carved vargueno (bargueno) on stand, 20thc. possibly fashioned with antique panels, visible dovetail construction, iron strap hinges and hasp, front and side panels carved with winged figures, masks, dragons, scrolling foliates, drop-front panel opening to fitted interior gallery with nine drawers, two hinged panels, over inset writing surface, rising on stand with spiral twist legs, joined by H stretcher, molded shoe base, restorations and wood loss, fall-front door does not currently stay closed, approx 54.25"h, 35.5"w, 27.5"d
