The Bronze Sculpture, "The Wicked Pony", is a large 35" statue inspired by Frederic Remington's cowboy and horse theme. This collectible piece is perfect for home decor, with a western Americana culture and a marble base that adds a touch of elegance to any space. Made in the United States, this sculpture captures the essence of cowboy and pony imagery, making it a unique and striking addition to any collection of western-themed art.
Large bronze sculpture after Frederic Remington’s The Wicked Pony, depicting a bucking horse throwing its rider to the ground. The horse’s raised hind legs and the fallen cowboy make this one of Remington’s most dramatic Western compositions.v
Remington modeled The Wicked Pony in 1898 as his third sculpture. Where The Broncho Buster shows a cowboy staying in the saddle, this scene captures the moment the horse wins. This example is a later bronze after Remington, mounted on a rounded marble base.
Dimensions: 33" H for the bronze; 35" H overall including the marble base.
