Dramatic bronze sculpture of a Native American rider guiding his horse along a rocky ledge, with a loaded pack horse following below. The steep terrain and different positions of the two horses give the scene a strong sense of movement and scale. Western sculpture has long used horseback travel to tell stories of life across rugged landscapes, and this large work makes an especially striking display piece.
