Three-Piece Louis XV-Style Giltwood Parlor Suite, early 20th century, consisting of a settee and a pair of fauteuils, the settee with a padded and rounded back surmounted by a shell and floral crest, joined by downswept arms to the padded seat, raised on molded cabriole legs ending in casters, h. 36", w. 63", d. 27", the fauteuils each with a shaped and padded back surmounted by a like crest and joined by a padded seat by like arms, raised on molded cabriole legs ending in casters, h. 41-1/2".
In good structural condition with only slight looseness to the settee. Settee formerly fitted with casters. Upholstery is clean, tight and in very good condition. Gilding restored in areas, minor scattered rubbing, and some surface losses to arms of chairs. Chip lacking and repair to crest on one chair.
