Streetscape / Village-scape Oil Painting by French Artist Frank Renault | Oil on Canvas | Signed by the artist in the lower right of canvas "F Renault" | Housed in a gold gilt beveled wood frame | Approx. Dimensions: 28″ H x 24″ W; 71.12 x 60.97cm | Pre - Early - Fauvism painting that is wonderfully textured with a slight to medium impasto. Frank Renault is a French-born artist who worked in America in the late 19th century. Renault arrived in San Francisco in 1877 with Leon Trousset and Antoine Dupont.
