French, 19th century. Mixed-wood parquetry inlaid bureau plat or desk in the Louis XV taste, having foliate bronze mounts, tooled leather top, three drawers, three false drawers, and rising on cabriole legs. Unmarked. Approx. h. 30", w. 55.25", d. 30". Relatively unusual to bring in a 19th century bureau plat. They are usually early to mid 20th century pieces.
