CHIPPENDALE STYLE LEATHER MAHOGANY LIBRARY TABLE, early 1900s
English Chippendale style mahogany library table, early 20th c., having long rectangular top, inset leather writing surface with gilt embossed trim, over three frieze drawers to either side, rising on cabriole legs with carved shell motif at knee, two turned supports at center, ending in claw-and-ball feet, one drawer bottom with interior damage, approx 31.5"h, 97.25"l, 49.25"d **Provenance: From the Snaffle Bit Ranch estate of David Dewhurst (b.1945), who entered public service in 1998 when he was elected Texas Land Commissioner. He later served as 41st Lieutenant Governor of Texas from 2003-2015.
