Gorgeous Pierre-Jules Mene (French, 1810-1879) titled "The Huntsman" bronze sculpture depicting a French hunter astride a trotting horse having a bugle horn wrapped around his torso with a sword at his side and a hound dog follows beside. Incise signed and dated 'P.J. Mene 1864' on base.
Good condition overall having patina and discoloration on the bronze throughout with some oxidation on the horse's muzzle and the man's hands. 23 ins x 21 ins x 12 ins!
