Period vellum over boards, boards stamped in blind and spines lettered in manuscript, toned and soiled, some bowing of boards, front hinge of first volume is split (though board still attached, all intact.) Contents with occasional foxing, some marginal water-stains in limited places. Provenance: Pastedowns with engraved armorial bookplate of P. Carey, front blanks with etched bookplate of D.L.
